Best Mace for infusion?
So, I am currently using a odd set up for myself: a fire infused Chaos Blade with the Flame Weapon pyromancy. Don't get me wrong, it's a great build that's a lot of fun to use and I enjoy it quite a bit but I just feel a tad odd using Katana's, especially the CB with the hate in the community for it.

So I want to switch over and go back to my roots and the first build I used in the original DS2, by taking a mace weapon and infusing it with lightning then using sunlight blade. Normally I am good at reading into these things, but at this point I am a tad bit uncertain.

The Craftmans Hammer at +5 Lightning will do 175/175 respectively, and has a B scaling in Strength and a B in Lightning damage. While the Homonculus Mace +10 Lightning will have a 203/203 respectively, but has a C in strength, a E in dex and a B in lightning.

So the question is, if I go for a 40 strength, 30 Dex and 50 Faith build; which will be the strongest for me to use for both PvE (Enjoying helping in DLC 3) and in PvP.

Letters are screed up after infusions. The Maces are all close together, just use the one with the moveset or looks you like more.
An uninfused will be better in a long match because the infused + buffed one loses a lot of its power after the buff runs out.
So if you want raw damage for a short time -> Lightning
If you want mroe consistent amage and no reliance on buffs -> uninfused

Thanks for the quick reply. So you think the mace, uninfused, will do consistent and clean damage throughout the final boss of DLC 3? It's a bit of a swarm boss with a lot of armored enemies, and I don't want to slow people down/be dead weight in such a fight.

split/elemental damage in general is CRAP in the DLCs.
