A question about NG+ cycles and scaling of enemies
So, as far as i know you can replay the game infinite amount of times (at least i think so - feel free to say i'm wrong).
The enemies scale in strength with every new NG+ or after bonfire ascets (with the highest jump being from 1 to 2).
My question is - does scaling goes on forever or it stops at some point? At game's wikis i noticed that stat tables on enemy HP and souls rewarded stop at around NG+7 or NG+8.
I'm guessing that implies that their scaling also stops at this point. Is that so?

yes, scaling stops at ng+7, but after that u can just keep playing over and over

Logical thinking pays off. Yes, it does stop at NG+7. And yes, you can play it till NG+12448891785. The bonfire intensity screen stops at 99 though. But you can go further, it will just not be displayed.

Awesome. Good to know. Also: does the game keeps adding new ♥♥♥♥ in attempts to kill me in next games? I mean at NG+ the game threw some new enemies on the battlefield, and even replaced one particular chest with a mimicry, will it try to do something like it in the future cycles too, or from now on they just scale in power and that's it?

Phew. Means i can finally relax and not expect a sudden attack of some red phantom new enemy that i never saw before... Very good.
Now my only real threat is PvP hunters.

after ng+ you will notice more enemies in most areas, but the real change comes after ng+3, where the dlc areas get new enemies added to some specific areas that will make it really bad

Really? I always thought the red enemies there were already addded in NG+?

Oh... Crap. Too bad i'm on bonfire ascetic quest to even the game. Guess i still should be on alarm in DLC areas. Do you mean AFTER NG+3 or starting from NG+3? Because i'm already on it and i keep adding ascets there and there to make it 4.

Nope.

DLC areas get those new enemies in NG+2. (Bonfire intensity 3 - though I'm not sure whether burning ascetics or actual NG cycle is the real cause). Then these areas get super hard. Mostly because of the god tier poise of those red enemies.

Brume Tower also adds new enemies at NG+4 and NG+7 too.

Ah right. I don't remember the red Smelter Hammer dude in front of the Fume Knight boss in earlier NGs.

That one. And the possessed armor at the fog gate that leads to the scepter. And the 2 dudes that spawn with the first nadalia statue. AFAIK these are the only NG+7 ones.

And here i hoped the game won't throw new ♥♥♥♥ at me...
Sigh. I smell a lot of deaths in the future.

I am fairly new to this game, how rough does it really get at NG+7? In terms of common enemy threat level and such. All I've seen of this level is boss challenge runs where they dont show much of the game anymore.

If you can deal with NG+ you can deal with NG+7. The biggest shock is NG to NG+.
