Dark Armor chest piece, gone for good?

Greeting, after i killed a mimic in the Gutter, he dropped his loot level below, where is no entrance. I restarted my game and the loot apperead on the level where i killed the mimic, but i messed up my jump and died.

After i came back, there was no any loot on both levels, i restarted the game again, gone offline, change locations between Majula and the Gutter, but nothing.

Is there a way for my char to obtain the Dark Armor chest piece, or is it gone for good?

You can just pop an ascetic in the Gutter to bring it back to life. Will make everything a bit more difficult as well, but the Gutter isn't all that bad in the first place.

Bonfire Ascetic maybe?
I don't know how these affect mimic spawns...
Edit: Before you do it, arrive in the Black Gulch and activate the bonfire there so you don't have to go through the Gutter again.

Thanks it worked! Although bonfire aesceitc is a dear price to pay.

You can also throw a lloyds talisman at the mimic to open it safely like a regular chest. That's the only chest where that is REALLY helpful.
