Recommended rings for strength build, UGS user

What ring do you guys recommend for my character? I was thinking about Chloranthy, Third Dragon, Giants and something, maybe Royal Soldiers Ring.

Also, Is using Blossom Kite Shield pointless if I'm using chloranthy ring?

Third Dragon, Royal Soldiers +2, Blades +2, Life +3( swap to chloranthy +2, swap to blue tearstone)

^I agree.

Blossom KS stacks with cloranthy ring and is a decent shield on your back and for some necessary blocking.

Unless you go superheavy poise build (Havel) i wouldn't bother to much withpoise. It basically doesn't work in DS2.

depending on your equip load id suggest permanently switching to cloranthy from blades.

I mostly wear the Third Dragon ring, Ring of Blades and the Chloranthy ring. The fourth slot is free. You could wear any ring, such as the Flynn's ring, Dispelling ring or the Ring of Steel Protection.

it's work, with 95+ poise (and hyperarmor, of course) you can easy trade with catanas, rapiers & straight sword class weapons with impressive efficiency

^Sure and with 1500 resistance to physical attacks i can tank katanas with my nose. This doesn't mean it works as a whole system.

What about Ring of Thorns?

Could be interesting for punishing fast weapon spammers and make trading hits (which is a viable tactic with big weapons) more worthwhile for you.
But the counterdamage is not impressive and the high tier of the ring is a pain to get.
