Does the Heide Knight Iron Mask in the gutter only drop in New Game?

You can get the mask in the first playthrough, the next one you can get different parts or the great lance

Well the wiki doesn't say that, but i never got the helm twice, still i have different characters and i won't use one of those, so would be for free if you want it

helm is only one-time drop in new game, guaranteed drop with lance the first time u kill him...
after that u can only farm his armor, so i doubt there will be anybody with two iron masks..

i was very angry when i found out about that, why would they make it that you can only get it one time? makes no sense whatsoever...

I did a few experiments with this special heide knight and i got 2x mask and 2x heide grandlance (working on his normal heide lance now). An i can tell you that storing his rare "unique" itens in your item box does reset his drops. But you must use an ascetic to respawn them anyway
