I can't turn down the mouse sensitivity
When I go into the settings I find two separate options for camera sensitivity, I assume it's the same thing as mouse sensitivity because I can't find any option for that. I dropped one of them to zero but the other won't change no matter what I do, it just resets immediately after I leave, and so far messing around with either of them has had zero effect. I can't even play the game like this, I can't move my mouse without violently throwing the camera behind me

If it's going back to default when you close it, you might just not be 'confirming' it.

Always takes me a while to figure out the key on keyboard if I take a break from this game, weird keybindings but I think it's [Backspace] to confirm any changes to settings, then it should set properly.

Sweet, I didn't see any button that specifically said confirm so it was hard to tell

After changing sensitivity not need press key Esc, otherwise changes not apply, instead this need move cursor mouse outside border windows with settings and just click M1 several times, hope this help. Game not very good adapted for PC, but i found this answer in Google. How to find mouse sensitivity, after pressing Esc, move cursor on 5 sign, then under him become image with keyboard and mouse together, in opened window settings left sign are image mouse, on top located parameter which called "camera sensitivity", exactly this need change on own gust. Yes, by default sensitivity was too high ...

Yeah, they really hate kb+m. It feels like they actually went out of their way to make the kb+m experience as bad as they could. As in: It would likely be less effort to do it properly.

It's a real pity too, since I personally think games like ds (or anything with a freely moved camera, let alone first person aiming in case of bows for that matter) are just worlds better on kb+m, provided it is not completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

But to your point on "always play on controller", I would still disagree. Even given how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up it is I still prefer kb+m. In the end it's just personal preference. I just prefer kb+m so much, that I put up with fromsoft's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Honestly, I've played games on mouse and keyboard where it tells me a controller is strongly recomended, but this is the first time I feel like the game is actively judging me for refusing to use a controller
