And the Engraved Gauntlets just show that you can't make a proper cosplay. Drop them. They aren't needed.
Plus the Majestic GS deals actually pretty decent damage. Yes, it doesn't 2-shot people like a buffed Katana, but it's decent enough.
2. Infuse it. No reason not to
3. It's not 90 levels, it's around 70
4. Thrid dragon ring and ring of blades are obvious
Why the hell would you use engraves bracers when cosplaying?
1. Unfortunately I can't use dark weapon with a chime. I can use a staff just to drop the buffs and hide it though, and that would change the whole story, but the idea of the chime was carrying something I could conceal to cast stuff.
2. Alright, I'll do it and see if I can kill a naked hollow without breaking the weapon.
3. My bad, sorry. Still, a lot of levels wasted to use the weapon for the profit it reports.
4. I'll go get the ring of blades from the pursuers then.
I use the engraved bracers because I've never used them before, never needed the crits or anything and they aren't that peculiar to be noticed on sight. As soon as DS3 is released I'll simply uninstall DS2, and I'd like to see how they roll before I do so.
Do you want to do a cosplay or just another OP build with cosplay as an excuse?
Uninfused Majestic Greatsword, it actually hits pretty hard.
No weapon buff. Numbness or resonant flesh, cast mid-fight for extra style points.
No 'random tryhard assist' gauntlets.
No rings with visual effects.
And I suggest Heide Iron Mask.
Well, do whatever you want. But you definitely made my day a bit funnier.
Don't uninstall DkS2, DkS3 may yet disappoint you, PvP in 3rd is worse than it is in 2nd for example.
Don´t wanna crush your spirits or anything but you will be one under thousands. Same with the army of gutses, it´s pretty yawn.Haven´t seen a single Andre of Astoria for Example...
You tried, my friend, you tried =)
you are painstakingly dilligent! And right as usual.
please don´t toy with me:-)
@Iris of the White
I want to cosplay Artorias, but don't want to be gimped. In my opinion the sword deals enough damage to kill stuff, but not enough for the amount of stamina it consumes and the windup time it takes for the attacks.
I'm currently using the heide iron mask until I beat the fume knight just for the red ponytail, might use it eventually
No rings that require you to do something insane. I play for fun, and completing the game without ever sitting at bonfires or dying is something I'll never do for fun. I thought about the witch staff, but it's a jack of all trades that doesn't really serve a purpose, either I go for damage or not, but I won't be mixing hexes.
About the PvP, I can tell you 3 reasons why I'll totally uninstall DS2, just PvP reasons:
1. The PvP from DS1 was much better. If it hadn't that crappy netcode where you need to gather nodes it would be superior in every aspect to DS2.
2. Soul Memory is a delusional mechanic, I've met people in the blood arena who just beat the executioner chariot and wanted very low level duels with my SL 250 character that was running NG+3, had full throne watcher +5 and ivory king UGS that literally dealt more than twice his HP bar in 1 hit. I prefer knowing that EVERY character in the game at level 120 has had the chance to get every single item, so everyone has the same chances.
3. This game still has hackers and lagstabbers. Both problems are solved by a mod called PVP watchdog in DS1, whereas DS2 has no solution.
I don't intend to be unique, I just never made an Artorias in DS2 and wanted to do so before DS3 rolls in.
I made a blacksmith cosplay back in the day, it just didn't represent anything but I eventually changed my blacksmith hammer for powerstanced smelter hammers and had some fun in the arenas 1-shotting everyone I could hit for 3k instant damage.
Let me know what gear would you put in there, I haven't seen anything that resembles that in the whole game. The faraam set looks nice, but it's not golden.
Fashion:
Royal Soldier Helm
Throne Watcher Set or Royal soldier chest
Royal Soldier gauntlets or Velstat gauntlets
Velstadt leggins
Blossom shield
(Really, gaunltes and leggins are not that important. Choose something, that fits without being too heavy)
The amount of PvP i got out of that cosplay in DS1 and the amount of hatemail and -threads (honor kid f*ggot etc.)... Good times :D
I really should get into that in DS2, if it wouldn't overflow with cheaters when DS3 is released...
