for better or worse, it's their move not ours to judge.
Btw: I dont agree that the "B-team" screwed up. This is still an excellent game, even tho it cant live up to the masterpiece of DS1.
It is composed on seperate teams working on diffrent projects at the same time.
While Dark Souls 2 is made by From Software, it was created by completly diffrent team of ppl than original Dark Souls.
Thus the diffrences, thus the feeling that the game itself is kind of off.
All the new items, the DLCs, a lot of the weapons and their movesets, etc. all felt great.
The only complaints I had about DS2 was the level design, and how the vast majority of bosses are just tall guys in armor. Aside from that, I don't think ds2 deserves the flak it gets from a lot of people.
