Weapons in dark souls 2

How many weapons in total are in dark souls 2 i found aout there are 200 weapons in dark souls 3 here is the line saying it

Also every greatsword in DkS3 I've seen so far has the basic DkS1-moveset and only special battle arts. Not that overwhelming but they look really, really cool.

i hopw they are cool i dont mind the amount just wanted to know as some do when they get that thaughte in there head and i am restraining from seaing any gameplay untill it comes out. from wat they have said the release of the japanese ds3 around the world was a mistake it was only ment for japan so the onse not being horrible should have waited.

this part is not aimed at you @TrueArchery thanks for reply And to the onse who got that japanese vertion who wernt supposed to were not given permisstion to stream or show that content should not show it so is making it harder not to see things like spoilers on youtube ore twitch.

The wikia wiki counts 153 weapons in DS1 and 236 in DS2. The wikidot says 149 and 258, respectively. That gives you an idea, I'm more inclined to trust wikia for DS1 and wikidot for DS2.
