Heide Knight Set

Trying to farm this... ugh, bad luck. 5 drops... 3 swords and 2 leggings. Best farming spot I find is after Dragonrider. You can go down from the bonfire, and attract the Heide Knight without agroing the Old Knight. But that's still relatively slow. If anyone knows any better options, I'd appreciate it.

I'm at 81k SM. If anyone wants to trade or donate to help me finish the set, I'd really appreciate it. I need my Paladin Fashion Souls!

I can give it to ya but i'm at 18mil sm. Just kill the old knight near 1st bonfire about 15 times till it de spawns, equip item discovery gear and farm those two heide knights.

Except the Champions Convenant revives the Old Knight as well. Not to mention, they tend to double up on you, making it trickier than my method.

Ok i thought he would not respawn, i was confused as warlock didn't respawn on joining coc covenant (special case). Edited the post.

Ugh, it's been a while since I've gotten a drop at all. Is there a point at which enemy drop rate falls, even on Champions Covenant?

No enemy drop rate doesn't fall, but increases in ng+.

Thats right.
Edit: I am not sure that it scales eith each playthrough but i think it does. Because i'm in ng++ and one enemy in basatill dropped lingering flame once, and yesterday a random rat dropped warmth to my surprise.

If I recall correctly, item drop rate is higher when you kill enemy first time, then it eventually falls. After you kill enemy 11 times, it'll stop respawning.

Never used one before. As I understand, I'll want to drop it at the FIRST bonfire, at which point everything including the boss will respawn. Will I be able to attack the Dragonrider from behind, or will I have to take the usual route to fight him again?

Second, I haven't gone down the Blue Sentinels route just yet, is there anything I should do there before using the BA?

Also, for reference, I think it's been an hour since I've had ANY drops.

2. No, the old dragonslayer area will remain as it is. He respawns with bonfire in cathedral.

Welp, work time. About 3 hours of farming, and I have 8 or 9 drops, all swords or leggings :/

If there is anyone that can trade with me, I'll be on around Midnight to 3 AM and have ~120k SM.

Why do you guys want that set? Just for fashion souls? Doesn't seem like it is better then other stuff?
