Cardinal Jump still possible?

im trying to jump from the area out side of the doors to cardinal hall, down to the bonfire, is this still possible as seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1xcuLj3RpU&feature=youtu.be&t=42m1s at 42m5s?
ive tried atleast 30 times now and im not even coming CLOSE.
i feel like im getting the jump off clean, but my character doesnt jump anywhere near this distance; with nothing at all equipped.
i know its totally pointless im just doing it for fun, but im starting to think its patched or that that was the old version, not sotfs.
any advice? any videos of it being done in the last year ?

It can I did it about 3-4 month ago but not sure for now.I will try that for you.

You may try butterfly wings.

You're probably getting the jump off a pixel or two early. That's one of the more finicky jumps to make.

Can't watch the video atm but if that's the jump for tw. titanite and branch then it still works, I've done it on a few new chars not so long ago.

Did the jump just now, took a few tries though

Out of sheer curiosity i went ahead and attempted this jump as well. Took a few tries to get on the ledge you jump off from, but i got the longer jump to work every time.

So for me personally the first step is more difficult than the another, and i can guarantee it is possible.
