Actually, there is no one named "Forlorn". The Forlorn is a group of people.
"Born of Aldia's Obsession with the First Sin, the Forlorn lost both their corporeal form and a world to call their own. Now they drift into other worlds, ever in search of a home. But without self, one has neither beginning nor end, and so the Forlorn have only to wander."
Taken from their gear description.
No others have invaded me, interesting.
^_^
edit: also, there is only one that is a garunteed invasion, the GS one in the Huntsman's Copse... the rest can appear almost anywhere and are random and semi-rare.
and I do know about that lever lmao.
OP, be lucky that Reaper-Forlorn didn't invade you yet. They're d!cks.
Except the four in Aldia's Keep, albeit they aren't "invaders" there. But the scythe guys? Yeah. ♥♥♥♥ them lmao.
Oh my god, Dennis. When I first got to the Soldier's Rest bonfire in FotFG as a newb, Aflis didn't stand a chance, got pummeled off the little bridge by the overpowered triple-ironclad douches...
Iron Keep on the other hand, at that point the couple of poison knives I got up to that point, I just wailed them on him... good enough strategy I guess, but it's just not really worth going ham egg and cheese melee-wise on him unless you're a big enough boy.
always the same invaders in the same places too, but i believe they do change from NGto + to ++ etc.
For the rest must rest at a bonfire reapeatedly (farming) to trigger then sometimes. Or just be unlucky.
All of them are very reactive and LOVE to punish.
The "scythe" dudes only show up in later areas. Which is fine in my book. Boy, does that combo hurt.
Just because I could (and I wanted to explore every inch of every area... I discovered the literal edge of the map for quite a few places... falling through scenery not designed to be walkted on and into the limbo below) I recently did a run where I cleared out every area (until the enemies would no longer respawn) so that I could explore without being harried. The NPC "Forlorn" in the copse is the only garunteed "forlorn" to invade, and he will always invade there until you defeat him. There are also garunteed NPC invaders that are not "forlorn", and some that are garunteed provided certain criteria are met (such as being in offline mode, etc), but I wasn't refering to them previously. So yeah, you have experienced some great un-luck with yours, but in my experience and research, there is only the one garunteed invader forlorn... the rest are random (spawn in in specific spots, but still random in frequency of invasion).
Notto mention Delicate String increases that too.
