Lucatiel set
Hey, because I am trying to complete all achievements, I have a question about this particular one.

Can I use bonfire ascetic on certain bonfires to start Lucatiel's questline from the beginning or do I have to enter NG+ in order to get her set for the achievement?

Why would you need to be in NG+ to get her set? She gives it to you in the first cycle as early as Aldia's Keep.

Because I already missed it in my first playthrough and I want to speedrun NG+ as fast as possible so I can get to NG++ to complete other achievements.

Because I already missed it in my first playthrough and I want to speedrun NG+ as fast as possible so I can get to NG++ to complete other achievements.
Ah, gotcha. Pretty sure NPC questlines are bound to the current cycle.

Because I saw in the comments under the Lucatiel page on ds2 wiki that it can be reset, I just wanted to make sure if it's possible.

I mean, I could be wrong. But if it's fextralife it also carries a pretty big chance of just being entirely made up or wrong. The commenters are generally more reliable than the articles though. If it's highly voted and the sentiment is shared then maybe you actually can. I just don't know how the game would accept sending the questline backwards if it's already at a certain point.

Ex: Say you are up to the third encounter, and you reset the fire for the first battle. Does that mean her boss assist count with you lowers down to one from three? If so that'd mean you'd have to ascetic the second and third boss as well.

Her quest is achievable as long as you don't talk to her in Aldia's Keep because she dissapears after that dialogue until next NG.
You have to summon her in 3 bosses with her surviving, then she will give you her equipment. You can also use bonfire ascetics to complete the 3 bosses requirement, again, as long as you don't talk to her in Aldia´s keep.

You get Lucatiel set in Aldia's Keep after you summon her 3 times for boss battle. You can use bonfire aesthetic if u miss boss fight with her. Notable boss fight with her as allies was in No-Mans Wharf (Flexile Sentry), Iron Keep (Smelter's Demon) & Black Gulch (The Rotten).

I know how to get it, I just played my first NG blindly so I was just curious if it's possible to revert the questline back.
