Roaring Halberd - Dark or Dex?
Hey,

i'm really interested in using the Roaring Halberd with dark weapon (maybe dark infused, PVE only)

Yet I'm uncertain where to invest my points better or to what point:

Go 16/40/18/14 for Dark weapon and the DEX scaling

or 16/12/30/30 for maximum darkness?

Or something in between?

I don't plan on being a hexer build as spamming Orbs seems pretty boring , more like Dark Weapon, Repair or Yearn so what do you propose? as 16/40/30/30 would be a rather thin spread in terms of VIG/END/VIT which are all needed as the thing is heavy and conusming...

Your dark weapon buff will last longer the more INT you have, but the weapon scaling with dark really benefits from equal amounts fath/int, not 18/14.

Remember it has the sweet spot mechanic, and it also has low durability, so you only get ideal damage at the tip of the weapon, and landing elsewhere reduces durability faster. It also uses quite a bit of stamina, so I'd focus more on leveling stamina once you're at the base stats to wield the weapon. Repair spell will help once you have 15 INT.

At first, just infuse it raw or dark with the base stats and flynns ring. It's AR is quite high regardless. Once you have stats to spare and aren't running yourself out of stamina, you can go with equal amounts FTH/INT stats, the dex scaling isn't all that good.

Both, but more in dexterity
but what is prefferable? as i'd think a dark Halberd with dark weapon would deal more damage even when investing in Dex, wouldnt it? thx to the multiplier and stuff
