How to prevent the game from trying to connect to servers ?

Servers are down and will be for a while, but the game is wasting my time, trying to connect both on start and when trying to exit game.
Disabeling double click every time you launch a game is annoying enough, and now there is this.

block it it your firewall. If the game detects no internet connection, it gives up connecting to servers immediately

you could block for a while (while they fix the online) the game on your firewall, i do belive that makes the game thing that you don't have any internet connection.

Set Steam to offline, or just unplug internet.
