Having trouble getting fullscreen working
I have a weird thing happening, my display resolution is 1920 x 1080, but whenever I try to run DS2 SOTFS at that, the game window is much larger than my actual screen, forcing me to play at a lower resolution. What I have to play at currently is 1440 x 810, and that size is too small for my screen. Any ideas? I have tried to use the various guides and solutions presented in them, which led me to this problem.

Monitor Specs:

Connected to Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630
Desktop Resolution: 1920 * 1080
Active Signal Resolution: 1920 * 1080
Refresh Rate: 48.000 Hz (Also an option for 120.035)
Bit Rate: 8-bit
Color Format: RGB
Color Space: Standard Dynamic Range (SDR)

Playing this game on an Intel iGPU from over 3 years ago at 1080p won't be ideal. At least the poor 1080p refreshrate of 48Hz won't be an issue, since you want to lock the game at 30FPS anyways with a GPU like that for frametime consistency. Perhaps there lies the issue, because DSII is sensitive when it comes to non-60Hz displays.

Try playing in "Borderless Full Screen Windowed"-mode. Here's a guide with several ways to achieve this:

If you want 60FPS, you'll probably have to step down the resolution significantly. But this also requires increasing the monitor's refreshrate to 60Hz or higher.
I recommend setting your refreshrate to 120Hz for what i assume is a laptop. Moving the mouse cursor around will feel much more pleasant. This may produce a black-screen when trying to play DSII in true fullscreen - use the borderless fullscreen workarund in that case.

I wasn't particularly paying attention when I listed my computer specs, but I feel I should mention that I have both an integrated and a dedicated gpu. The integrated is the intel listed above, while the dedicated, which ds2 is using, is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650. I haven't tried to use the borderless window yet, mainly because it's not listed in game. I've been using the bordered window option, which is annoying because of the taskbar and the white border, but I have not noticed an frame drops, nor does it feel I'm running slow.

I tried following this guide as well, but I noticed when I changed the userconfig file, it didn't actually change where the darksouls screen was, only where the steam overlay popped up, so I reverted the changes and went back to bordered window.

Thank you, that program is great. I generally try to stay away from doing foreign downloads most of the time, because I don't want to risk it, and also just don't want to clutter my computer, but that app is perfect
