It even has something for gimmick-lovers, who like form over function with it's unique powerstance moveset.
If you want a cool curved greatsword that hits like a truck and a half, especially at high SL with both DEX and STR softcapped, try the Curved Dragon GS. Go to Freja's boss room and interact with the glowy thing in the back of the boss arena. It's a memory with the Ancient Dragon Soul inside.
Oh cool, I'll do that. I like Warped Sword as well, but against bosses it's not as good as Arced one. Against NPC, not sure, I didn't notice that much stagger, but then again, I mostly use R1 with light weapons.
This... so much this!
Turns out you were right about Warped Sword poise damage, I tried two-handing it and almost every R1 strike breaks poise of NPC invaders. Since I started NG+, I mostly switch between Warped Sword and Rickard's Rapier. Very nice combo.
The only advantage it offers over murakumo is the lower stats requirement if you two hand the weapon.
