Possibly! I've heard a mixed bag of reactions, where people say they got banned and others who have been playing and never got banned. Do you play online a lot?

Yes, I plan to play online. I'm currently downloading it and I'm just playing it on PC for the first time. I had no idea this game had so many issues. Now I just found out theres an issue with refresh rates higher than 60hz and the FOV also needs fixing.

What size monitor are you planning on using?

It's a 21:9 2560 x 1080 29 inch 75hz.

Damn, that's a shame because games can look amazing on those monitors.

Sadly, the lack of developers supporting that size screen caused me to sell mine and go for a smaller 1080p one, instead. It was getting to be a huge hassle getting mods and other resources to make these games work well on the extra-wide screens. Well, good luck!

I've actually gotten it working in 21:9 but only at 60hz. Setting the game to windowed and then setting flawless widescreen to set borderless works perfectly. It's just a pity about the 60hz lock. Dropping back to 60hz from 75hz is noticeable to me.

I hope Dark Souls remastered has native 21:9 support and higher refresh rate, If not, I'm not upgrading to it. There's nothing there for current PC owners.

https://www.oneangrygamer.net/2017/07/48-of-steam-users-run-games-at-1080p-less-than-1-have-vr-headsets/34406/ hey bud, tahts your problem for buying obscire sizes and trying to go for insane perforamnce.
most people even in 2018 havent even reached 1080p capabilities yet.

you could just hook up a cheaper monitor and save all this headache.
like 0.6 percent of steam uers have your resolution, thats why noone bothers to support it.

Dark Souls does not use VAC.
It's impossible to get a VAC ban in this game,

I used this program for 1 hour and uninstalled. A week has passed and there is no ban. Is there any risk that it will be? (did you use the program? And you are not banned, as I understand it?)

If You're smart enough to google out 2 years old thread, You should be smart enough to google out how to go around this stupid ass softbanning system.
Basically, make new steam account and family share the game.
There, problem solved and thousands of thousands of dollars putted into checking for cheating is thrown into dirt.
no. because the game isnt VAC protected.
