Locked Door right next to the Last Giant!

Where do I go or where do I find the key to open the locked door right next to the Last Giant boss-room?

don't worry about that gate, what lies behind it is for when you are somewhere in the middle of the game, can come back by the time you reach the iron keep, but if you are not confident i might advice to come back later.

You can also plunge down from the cardinal tower bonfire. Go down the ladder and look for a lizard to plungeattack (negates fall damage) or jump down at the end of the room (you take fall damage, probably needs some hp investment or falldamage reduction gear to be not lethal).

The key can be found in the iron keep near the beginning of the map being constantly burned by an insanely high damage fire trap(It can be turned off but the leaver is at the end of the map).

That door is meant for late mid/end game so fair warning.

(Ps the powerful enemies that are past that locked door are weak to poison arrows).
