Need help with Maldron the Assassin
Guys, is there anything I'm missing here? I'm literally dying over and over again to this guy in the most unfair battle ever.
2 undying (literally) heavy archers, bombers on gears, constant curse with huge aoe, evasive dark spirit with homing lance weapon I'm unable to evade and regenerating health + ads that 2 hit me...

There has to be some trick to beating this guy, right?

I'm trying to get a shade to help me but apparently no one is leaving their summon signs.
If anyone can help me take this fuc*er down, I'd be eternally grateful

P.S.
If all you have to say is "git gud" and similar, please, keep it to yourself.

For the curse, wear the Hollow Skin (found near the bonfire you came from) or Balck Witch Veil. Use seed of tree of giants when he runs away to make the enemies kill him. Then its just a matter of dealing with the normal mobs

Or if you have at least one Smelter Wedge, just ignore him and run down the spiral staircase until you see another of those creepy whispering idol thingies... breaking that will lift the curse in the tower AND stop the enemies from respawning infinitely, making it a lot easier to clear the area out. You might be killed after breaking the idol, but it'll be permanently gone, letting you take out the enemies. Also, you can kill the enemies on the central platforms a lot easier with plunging attacks, just make sure you don't overshoot and fall all the way down.

Well, first you may wanna grab the "Hallow Skin" headgear in Brume Tower. At the wall of one of the elevators, there's an illusory wall with a bunch of water pots and a chest - it's in there.
Putting it on gives you curse immunity. How convenient.

My other tip is to focus on destroying the Nadalia effigy first, who heals any nearby ally, including Maldron. After Maldron runs away, focus on kilingl everything on the way down to avoid getting bombarded with firebombs if you fight him later. IIRC there's another effigy around, who buffs any nearby ally as well. (That one's also responsible for reanimating the Possed Armor enemies)
So bring a couple Smelter Wedges.

Seed of a Tree of Giants.

Hit him a couple of times, then he runs down.

Turn on some cool music and wait.

Actually, all of these advices are brilliant and I'm unsure how the hell I haven't thought of that myself.

Thanks a lot, I'm on it

Edit: Omfg, got him on the first try without actually breaking a sweat with seed trick. Thank you guys so much, you saved me a lot of nerves tonight.
