Old Iron King is dumb af [saltpost]
Beat him alone last night and good god he is stupid. Doesn't even do that much damage, he's just "cheese you into the lava, boss edition". At least his HP pool sucks and he died fast to 2 handed lance shots. Don't even feel like I learned his patterns. Strats for when I hit him on NG+?

Smelter was way harder imo, I summoned for him because I didn't know about rosabeth yet. If I had a reliable supply of the fire resist items Smelter would've been quite doable alone once I figured him out

tl;dr I died too many times on old iron king and now I'm mad

He's nowhere near as bad as Wolnir.

His fist attacks last long enough to mess him up, he's quite easy

Strategy boils down to "roll at the right time" and "sprint past his flame breath and bash his head in".

The hardest part is just not walking into the lava.

This is a great game for sure, but it ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed when it comes to bosses. Most of them are frankly garbage

Yeah I have to agree somewhat, although I havent quite beat the game yet (at undead crypts atm).

Yeah I have to agree somewhat, although I havent quite beat the game yet (at undead crypts atm).

Well you've yet to enjoy the DLC at least, those bosses are much better!
