How does power stance damage work?
I currently have a quality build (22/22) and am power stancing two longswords. Should I upgrade both evenly for maximum damage, or only/mostly upgrade the one in my right hand?

Great question! Power stancing is such a fun mechanic to play with. Here's what you need to know: the game gives many, many upgrade materials fairly early when compared to other Dark Souls games. You can evenly upgrade your swords, prioritizing the right hand one is also smart. However, power stancing with a +2/+9 is a little off balance. If you had a +5/+7, that's better, for example. Anyway, by the time you get to the big castle (don't want to spoil) you should have enough upgrades to max out one weapon completely and get a second weapon to around +8. Hope that helps!

your lefthand weapon does always less demage than your righthand. Not sure about catalysts and a certain greatsword.

Both evenly, but if you have to make a choice prioritize the right handed one.

I believe your powerstance damage is supposed to be -20% of the total AR of both weapons, but I'm not sure exactly how it's calculated since things like counter damage and damage type also play a role. My powerstanced uchi/rapier build hits like a damn truck on any counter hits but again, the calculations are hard to determine since they both have high counter stats and even the powerstance slash attacks may still get the 12.5% old leo ring boost since a rapier is ONLY supposed to do thrust damage.
