Is it recommended to play the DLC before or after beating the main game's final boss?

So far I've only beaten the Ivory King DLC (and missed the twin optional bosses fight, now that I look it up, so will have to remedy that. And apparently it's the 3rd DLC so I did it way out of order). Should I proceed to the final game, or the remaining DLCs?

It doesn't really matter; you can continue with the DLC's after you've beaten the game. You yourself decide when you go to NG+. That's the way I usually do it, because I find the DLC's to be a lot harder than the general end game, so I do them last.
