How do I trigger the second ending?
So I just beat dark souls sotfs on my first playthrough ever and got the throne ending. Right now I am just doing all the optional stuff like the dlc, getting the most powerful weapons etc. But I previously looked up on online that there are actually 2 endings to this game like the original dark souls. Yet when I beat nashadra It didn't really give me a choice to do anything. Maybe I beat her close to the statues that I trigged the ending before I could have a choice idk. I think it did give me an option to leave the throne of want I am not sure. I just wanna make sure exactly how to trigger the second ending for ng+. No spoilers plz, thanks.

Yeah but Aldia speaks and it is a better ending.

Also if you complete all 3 of the DLC's its also the ending that means the DS2 protagonist lives through to DS3 and beyond.

So, I also experienced one of the endings for the first time recently. I kept waiting for that choice similar to DS1, but the way I remember it it went from Throne Watcher & Throne Defender to Nashandra to Aldia... and I don't remember any "breaks" where I could do anything besides fighting bosses. Did I miss something?

I'm playing the game again, so I'll get another crack at it.

No, I'm saying that when I arrived at the Throne of Want, I expected at some.point to be able to make a choice similar to the one in DS1 after the last fog gate in that game. But the boss fights just kept coming, and after the last one, a cinematic played.I didn't perceive a clear opportunity to choose one thing or another. But maybe I just missed it?

This is one way in which I wish you could reload a previous save in this game. Yes, I know you can make a backup, but I'm paranoid about getting softbanned.

Wellp, if you fight with Aldia you can do the choice, go to the Throne, or no, its like DS1, the thing is the fight with Aldia, go to the throne you have the option to Go to the Throne, and in the fog gate, get out XD

This not happen to you even you fight with Aldia?

triggering the aldia fight IS the choice you made.

@OP talk to aldia at all 3 locations and kill vendrick before nashandra to get the ending choice.

Wait so there is 3 endings? The throne ending, the ending where you leave the throne room after you fight nashandra, and the alidia ending where you fight her by killing vendrick first then nashandra and finally alidia will pop up and you fight her.

No. The option to leave the throne room will only be available after you have fought aldia. That means 2 endings. And to trigger the second one you have to kill vendrick first.

So when I fight alidia I will have 2 options instead of one for an
ending? But I have to fight nashandra first so I would get a throne ending then go back to the throne of want to get the second ending? Or can I still chose the throne ending after I fight aldia.. I'm confused
