Like which stats should I use to make the damage good?
If you use it at the minimum requirements (for onehanding), I'd keep it uninfused. The attack rating is like 40 points worse, but in practice that will not lead to a big difference in damage. And your damage is split even more in favor of physical damage which is the more reliable and superior damage type.
This is something I haven't really tested much especially for weapon with good scaling, but it seems like weapon buffs favor base damage more than scaling. This is why the Raw infusion, despite having a bit less attack rating, might be better if you plan to buff the weapon at low stats. Especially if you decide that you only want to twohand the weapon to save 20 levels in Strength (which I don't really recommend, but it's still fine) - in that case Raw is better than uninfused anyway.
If you level Int and Faith beyond the requirement, the Dark infusion becomes better. I'd say it isn't really worth any investment unless you go 20+ in each (softcap is reached at 30 in both). Remember that the dark damage scales with the lower of the two stats so you usually want to level them equally. Unless you only want to focus on something like Dark Weapon buff duration which scales solely with Intelligence. So a build that has 24 Intelligence and 12 Faith to cap the buff duration, use the hammer and still save as many levels as possible (for example to manage its high weight) is alright. But since this hammer is a weapon that actually scales pretty well compared to most other (infused) weapons this isn't the smartest decision for this particular case imo. Like by going from 12 to 24 Faith you gain 50+ attack rating, that's pretty good for the investment.
