I've looked up both the irl swiss guard and the papal guards in AC:BH and they have a couple of differences with the swiss guard being more lightly clothed and the pappal guards being heavly armored, as a result I'll suggest you two fashion sets with one trying to stay as close as the real swiss guard and the other trying to mimic the AC papal guards:
* IRL Swiss Guard cosplay:
-Helmet: Infantry helm (obviously)
-Chest: Drakeblood armour (the drakeblood armour has the most resembling design to the armor of the swiss guard commanders)
-Gauntlets: Jester Gauntlets (one noticeable thing about their uniform is their white gloves which have no armored parts, sadly I couldn't find any white gloves that looked good enough, the jester gauntlets were the most fitting I could find)
-Leggings: Jester Leggings (one of the most striking details of their uniforms are these colorful striped pants, the jester leggings mimics that the best)
*AC papal guard cosplay:
-Helmet: Infantry helm (again it's the best we have)
-Chest: Drakeblood armour (you did suggest the Llewllyn chest however it doesn't have any metalic or golden parts and the cape is black as opposed to the papal guard's red cape and cloth which is why I still suggest the drakeblood chest)
-Gauntlets: Drakeblood gauntlets (the golden engravings and black metal matches the armor)
-Leggings: Drangleic leggings (the pappal guards have no armors above their knees, only their boots have armored plates which is why I choose that piece of armor)
*Weapons (applies to both versions):
Espada Ropera (it's the same exact rapier they use)
Winged spear / Partizan / Syan's halberd (they look similar to what they use and all have an A scaling in dex just like the espada ropera)
They use no shields however if you absolutly need one either the target shield or the pheonix parma work with this set
as for the build you will want to use a dexterity build to make use of the high dex scaling your weapons will have and you might want to add a bit of faith for some miracles considering the theme of this build
ive done alot of silly builds such as this.
very fun :)
Thank for the help man, I can't believe how off on the look I was, I didn't even think about using the Drakeblood chest piece. I'm already liking the look on both variants.
I'm already planning on upgrading the gear on my main character and trying some jolly cooperation, and maybe a PvP match or two to test the waters.
As for miracles, I might use Sacred Oath, Sunlight Blade, Great Heal + GH Excerpt, and maybe even throwing in a Great Magic Barrier or a Regenerate HP miracle.
Anyways, thanks again for the help, and I'm really looking forward to trying this build out.
Happy Cosplaying and Praise the Sun :)
