(RESOLVED) What're the Reindeers' Weaknesses (and How do I Deal With Lud and Zallen)?
Getting the feel for those reindeer, and understanding how to beat the twin cats, I've finally beaten the Frigid Outskirts solo! I feel like I got that area by the balls, but feel free to post some tips and tricks anyway! All of us outskirt marauders can use it!

Those guys are a REAL pain in the backside, and since I plan to journey to their territory, I must know how others get rid of them solo (since I doubt there'll be other player phantoms there in my soul memory range). What damage type are they weak to (thrust, strike, etc.), and what staggers them easily (aside from Santier's Spear)?

The boss duo here also seems very overwhelming. How long will I be able to solo Lud before Zallen joins the fray? And would lightning do effective damage to them?

Hmm, I suppose that helps a bit, but I wanna know from player experience, seeing as how the wiki doesn't even know what damage type they're most vulnerable to.

Last time I went throught that area I was using fume ugs but those icy horses have a high poise, so I went for tactic hit and dodge XD

Even Fume Knight's Ultra Greatsword is ineffective to stagger them? Yikes...

I'd try Fire, Dark and Magic damage, in that order. And try different weapons, maybe.

Since they use lightning maybe not that kind of stuff.
To be honest just RUN, you have to go from ruin to ruin if you are nearby those buildings they won't spawn. If your stamina is high enough you are able to get from the start point to ruin 1 without spawning them. Ruin 1 to ruin 2 is more difficult but you can just kill them outside of it and heal back up inside if you have to. After ruin 2 you hit a bridge, when you are over it they won't follow and you can buff and heal infront of the boss gate.

If you need help just ask in the forum.

What I'm having more trouble with on these guys is their charging attack, I just can't get the timing down! And about their physical attacks, do they still do lightning damage, or only when they're channeling electricity?
Stone Ring (Ring which you can find at the first Ogre in the game) + Great Demon Hammer did the trick for me and my friend, although I'm unsure whether it was a strong attack or normal one.
Either the case, they should get staggered in a single strike after which they should be left open for long enough until you can finish them off (asuming you've got more than 40str or upgraded weapon, this shouldn't be a problem).

Stone Ring has been a great saviour of mine so far, but there's another small thing I'm worried about... that random knight near the third building, should I bother with him?

Just go after him, if I remember correctly there are 3 knights (if you're still not on NG+) / hollows on the path which aren't respawning. I could be wrong but I think the knight you saw is Faraam Knight who drops his set (he's not much of a trouble tho so you're all good, so long as you manage to kill him before the storm brings in Reindeers)

Only found one guy, and he was thankfully not a big deal. NOW TO FIGHT THE TWIN CATS... any tips for them aside from killing Lud as fast as possible?
Wait, is your SM 10M+ ?
If so I could jump in.
Regarding the twins - your best bet would be taking as many buffs as you can before starting the fight and kill one of them before the second one jumps in. Melee (back legs) is your safest bet. Also beware of the second phase (when one dies), the other one gets buffed.

My soul memory is aroundd 1.7 million, so I doubt there's a chance of us connecting, even with name rings... Think lightning damage would do anything, or should I save myself from the stamina drain from lightning casting?

The reindeer you can pancake if you have a strong buffed club-type weapon. Combine that with the stone ring and you might be able to stunlock them. I had a lightning infused demon's great hammer so I don't think they're really resistant to lightning.

As for the cats, the second one comes in at 30% HP if you are soloing him. You can save up something powerful like a spell or weapon art for when he gets low to finish him off while the second one is still leaping in.

You mentioned the reindeer charge attack, that one has really stupid hitboxes. You have to roll extremely delayed to dodge that
