If you got the souls to buy the cat ring from the cat in Majula, you can use it to help you jump down the pit outside her shop.

OR If you have a fragrant branch of yore, you can go up the path next to the other path that leads to Things Betwixt and free a petrified character which opens a new path.

OR you can revisit the path in Majula that leads to Heide's Tower of Flame and see that the priestess you met before has moved and she can open up another area for you.

How did you came to lost bastille? Did you came on the ship or by the bird?
I'll consider that you came to Lost Bastille through 'bird airlines'.
1) You can go to Heide's Tower of Flame, through there you can first clear Cathedral of Blue, and then get to No-Man's Wharf, after it comes another entrance to Lost Bastille, so there's not much to do;
2) Buy Silvercat Ring from Sweet Shalquoir in Majula, and carefully drop through the pit, there's 2 locations of interest - The Gutter, and Grave of Saints, entrance to Grave of Saints located a bit higher and it's also shorter than gutter;
3) If you have Fragrant Branch of Yore(you can always ask wiki where to find more of those), you can go to Shaded Woods after unpetrifying person that holds the switch, also said person is a sort of pyromancy trader;

4) After defeating Dragonrider in Heide's Tower of Flame you'll find miracle trader just ahead, after talking to her, she'll move to 'majula rotunda', you got past it to get to Heide's Tower of Flame, she offers you to switch roads, so you can get to Huntsman's Copse, after it comes Undead Purgatory, and then Harvest Valley, Earthen Peak, and Iron Keep

I went through both sides of Lost Bastille. Also I did get a +10 great club before I faced the first 2 bosses and I freed the pyromancy girl with my first branch.

The path past Rosabeth, the pyromancy girl, leads to Aldias Keep, Drangleic Castle, and the Shaded Ruins. Shaded Ruins will take you up the path to the Brightstone Cove Tseldora where you can fight the Dukes Dear Freya. Alternatively if you have spoken with Lucia, the lighting priest woman in Heides Tower, you can ask her to open the way to the Huntsmans Copse in Majula which takes you to the Iron King. Or you can jump into the well in Majula and go through the Gutter which takes you to the Rotten.

I absolutely HATE the gutter so I don't go there until I have finished all the other lines. Also fire arrows/bolts/fire enchanted bow/brossbow will be your best friend down there.

But doesn't a dlc tower block off Drangleic Castle?

No, I think you just need 1 Million soul memory to go through that door. Also, in the fork road, the right path isn't just to troll you, it leads somewhere

oh yeah I already went through there to talk to the head.

If you keep following that left wall around it takes you to the Shaded Ruins. That area is a little tought to navigate, there is some decent stuff in the woods but there are invisible enemies that are awesome at backstabbing you so I would suggest not exploring it much until you are ready to lose souls (aka you have just leveled and only have like 1K souls or less to lose). If you continue around the left wall past the head it will eventually lead you to the Shaded Ruins Bonfire, just stick close to the wall and run like hell.

EDIT: I sent you an invite, I'll be on most of the day if you want to add me we can coop/I can help you out :D
