DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin

Problem with DS II Sotfs: 0% GPU usage and 100% CPU usage.
I'm having a very annoying problem with that game specifically.

In the initial menu (start, continue, video, information, etc) the game shows 60 normal fps, with GPU at 14% use and CPU at 70% (which I'm finding very high for a static screen).

However, when I start the game the FPS rate drops to ridiculous 2 or 3 FPS, GPU usage drops to 0% and CPU usage goes up to 100%).

I'm already 3 days looking for solutions on the internet and in forums, but I have not seen any cases like my own with a solution.

I have already changed the options in the Nvidia control panel, reinstalled the GPU drivers, updated the windowns, closed the programs in background, checked the entire files of the game in steam, added the game as an exception in my antivirus, but nothing worked .

Even downloaded a pirated version to test (size is being my despair, rs) and the pirate version ran normally, with proper use of CPU and GPU.

I point out that this problem is happening ONLY with the game Dark Souls II: Sotfs Steam (because the pirate works normally).

I have the Dark Souls III, Shadown of Mordor, Far Cry Primal and all the games work normally.

Shadown of Mordor, for example, spins at 180 fps high with no problem.

Please help me.

My Settings:

GTX 1060, 3gb
I5 3570k
8 gb ram
Windowns 7, 64 bit.

It's gotta be something with your system. This game has never worked badly in any respect.

But the question is the problem is only happening with DS II: Sotfs of Steam . If it were the system my other games or the DS II pirate would also have problems (which is not occurring).
Nuke your drivers with DDU, reinstall latest, check again.
I discovered a solution and now the game is working normally.

I went to the game folder in the Steam folder and looked for the .exe file. After locating it I right-clicked the "previous versions" options and ran a previous version of .exe with a double click.

Through this previous version the game worked normally (although I do not know why that).

I just think I'll have to do this whenever I want to play again, but it's great anyway =]

I hope this information helps more people with similar problems.

Thank you to all who have answered me.
