which is the best build for darklurker

hello all, im facing a lot of trouble on the darklurker, i want to know, what is the best build to fight it? Please, im stuck on that boss for ages

You can use the hex Profound Still. That blocks almost all of his attacks for 30 seconds. Aside from that he is weak to lightning.

Fire and lightning do most damage to him but that fight is not a damage race. Avoiding attacks is the key and it's not hard at all. I hardly ever get hit in that fight. All projectile attacks can be avoided by running left or right and melee attacks can be avoided by running around him. Baiting him to do his melee attacks is the easiest way to deal damage as you can get a few hit to his back every time unless the other copy is firing projectiles at you. Do not use lock-on as it prevents you from properly seeing what both copies are doing. If you wear heavy armor then ditch it and fight naked. Longer rolls and faster stamina recovery speed are more important than minimal damage reduction.

find a good Hexer build, but use pyromancies for the Darklurker. It is incredibly weak to fire. I had good success getting behind it and spamming Combustion. Flame Swathe is also very useful, and if you have it, Chaos Storm/Fire Tempest is perfect for casting right after it splits in two, hopefully hitting both.

Dark-infuse the Transgressor's Leather Shield or Rebel Greatshield for 100% dark block, if you're used to using a shield. Every attack it has is Dark damage except the one fire attack.

The Warlock Mask, Chaos Boots, Dark Gauntlets, and Black Witch Robe are the best options for Dark Defense. Equip your best Dark Quartz Ring, and either cast (Great)Magic Barrier or eat some Dark Troches. If you can pump your Dark Def high enough, the fight is a cakewalk.

the thing is, im on the 40th trial already for him, and he divides and start spamming fire and dark orb atacks at the same time

I used this build, but but dropped the Str/Dex a little bit and evened out the Int/Faith to 30/30

I just nuked him with a 40 Dex Lightning Resin Rapier recently, first try. Was a quick fight. Well not really, more like a murder.

Dark is useless agianst him go full sunlight blade buff on him or great or sunlight spears.
Like most enemies in the game hex builds are bad.

I only recommended a hex-based build because they are also useful for high fire damage while still having the best dark defense

tbh a hexer build/Dark Orb build trivializes the whole game. It's fast and effective, not much is actually strong against dark - and even if, just use pyros.
