NG+ Build
At the moment im running the loyce set with the watchdragon parma, drakeblood greatsword and hunters blackbow. I only entered ng+ once and didnt bother going past things betwixt. Can anyone recommend a fun build to take to ng+ and beyond? I dont really want to focus on magic since it seems boring, but i dont mind spells that enchant weapons. I considered the FUGS since it looks like it has beastly damage.

Id appreaciate if anyone out there could give me a somewhat decent rundown on what stats to take too. Im around SL185 currently.

Thanks.

Well - what build comes to your mind? Light? Heavy? Shield or not?

Did you try powerstancing 2 weapons? Powerstancing 2 shields?
Did you try glassy trucks or racecars on nitro?

Since you already mentioned it - the FUGS is just 50 Strength, 30 Dex (the requirement, pretty damn high and you don't get any scaling). It's quite heavy, but its blocking-values are so good that you actually don't need a shield so you can save that weight. As every big truck, it benefits from Poise to be able to tank through quick jabs from one of the countless mobs. Softcapped HP (50 Vigor), 99/105 Agility, the rest pumpted into stamina and you're good to go. With that Dex, you can keep using the Blackbow for sniping/poisoning. Watch out to avoid the fatroll, but you don't have to pump VIT for the super-heavy armor, the Ring of Giants +2 can be a good weight-saving substitute for that.

Couple of things though.
99/105 agility? wat.
RoG or Third dragon ring?
Should i consider a greatbow?
Is FUGS infussable and would that be worth it? Would be nice to get some damage out of a dark scaling or out of buffing it with a hex.

3rd Dragon is kinda overrated, but definitely helps. Good stuff for the build mentioned would be:
Third Dragon Ring
Chloranthy Ring +2
Royal Soldier's Ring +2
Ring of Giants +2
Ring of Blades +2
Depending on what kind of armor you want to use, a mix of 3rd DR (nice all-around boost), RSR+2 (for heavier armor -> better physical protection and more Poise) and RoG+2 (very cheap 30 additional Poise) can do that job of hitting a good spot for the ratio Poise/weightload%/defense.

Not really, for sure not in PvE. A Blackbow will be way better for most situations.
The only real (but funny and trolly) use is to use one for shooting invaders off a ledge or similar stuff, but it's probably enough to have a bunch of (Fire) Greatarrows equipped and an unupgraded Alonne Greatbow in the inventory.

IIRC you can infuse it but it's not the smartest thing to do. The AR is very solid, it will easily carry you through the game, it's consistent damage and isn't crippled by some very elementally resistant areas/foes.
You can't buff it at all.

That 99/105 thing... Still dont get why its split into 2. I got it somehow on a build calculator to 106/13. Completely clueless.

Either 99 or 105. Both are breakpoints for iframes during rolls. Quite simple.

Still dont get it, i guess il leave it as it is.

Well then you can't read the link I gave you, but leaving it at base is stupid.

Use mugenmonkey for calculations, btw. Especially the "Agility"-feature of gamebuilds is kinda glitchy.

I did use mugenmonkey, i just have no idea what that ratio stuff is or how to change either number to get 99/105.

Well it's very easy. Level ATN and/or ADP until mugenmonkey tells you that you've 99 Agility. Or 105 Agility, which is the next breakpoint for an additional iframe for your rolls.

ADP is 4 times as effective as ATN, that's it.

110 Agility is the cap where the returns start to diminish heavily, you have to spend tons of points for 110 > 111 Agility hence it's really not worth leveling it further than 105 at ~SL200.

Again, thanks.
