Tips for Sinh the dragon
I have realised that he ♥♥♥♥♥ my weapon when i hit him and i dont have many repair powders.
I also either don't seem to be doing a lot of damage, not sure if thats because he has lots of health or because lighting isn't the best for him?
So any tips?

Also where can i buy more repair powder?
Thanks :)

Wellager (the ghost merchant in drangleic castle) sells repair powders unlimited.

Sinh is very elemental resistant, i think pure physical + optional resin is the way to go.

If you summon both NPCs your damage will go down as well.

I'm not at the castle just yet, just sped to the first DLC as i've not played them yet but thanks anyway.

And do you recommend summoning one of them or anyone at all?

i´d not recommend either of them, they are pretty bad...

if it´s not going to happen on your own, take only one phantom.

I ´d take a sunbro sign tho if there are any. If you get lucky(or ask around here), only take the sunbro and no additional ones. That way you both have decent dmg.

My two cents: I wouldn't summon. Sihn is pretty easy one you know his attacks, just take your time fighting him. It's a good idea to spend a couple of deaths getting to know him.

In case you didn't know, the DLC is prety much end-game stuff, perhaps you should return later if it's too hard.

Lightning is okay against Sinh, seeing how it's a dragon. However, you have to keep in mind that Lightning Spear spells have damage drop off over range, even if they still hit. Hurling Spears from maximum range will do a fraction of it's full damage.

Outside of that, Sinh has pretty high defense, so it will take a good few whacks. It also degrades your weapon faster due to it's corrosive nature, so either have Repair Powders or a backup weapon handy. (or bracing knuckle ring)

The summons are ehhhh...they can be good tanks if you're bad at dodging Sinh's attacks. At least the caster one has Lightning Spear and healing spells. If you have the hang of dodging it's attacks though, don't bother.

Thanks guys :D
And i'm too lazy to come back, im already on NG+2 forgot to say so that might not mean too much.

And there's like no signs, i got lucky and found one for Elena, which helped me.

The Dragonbro NPC is a pretty nice meatshield and tanks her like a champ.
The other one can heal, but deals poor damage and isn't that useful as the great Dragonbro.

I'd give the Dragonbro a shot, he can be pretty useful. But yeah, use a pure phys weapon.
