soft cap and hard cap on strength for a strength build?
Is 50str-20dex enough? Or should I pump str mor?

Softcap for both str and dex is 40, but you can go as high as 50. Don't remember what the hardcap is, but it's close to 99.

So yes, 50/20 is enough, you can even go lower in dex, depending on your weapons choice.

Not if you want to use the Smelter Hammer, aka Chicken Wing (you actually need 70 strength to use it). 99 strength to dual wield them, lol.
