It'll probably still take you a while with all 4 souls, though.
That guy has tons of hp.
None of his attacks can hit you if you keep strafing right and stay just behind his left leg.
It'll go by faster if you have four but it is doable with three, meaning you don't need to kill the Ancient Dragon to kill him. That one is probably the hardest Giant Soul to get IMO.
Ancient Dragon is actually really easy as long as you're patient and get him locked in an easy pattern. Basically, you want him against the edge of the platform. Then you bait the frontal breath, hit a leg, then run back. He will then fly up and breathe underneath himself, but he won't move from the edge. You can just run back to dodge the fire. Then bait the frontal breath again. Rinse and repeat until dead. He can't touch you.
However, I believe they patched it out in SotFS.
Yeah, you can respawn them, but they won't drop a soul, I think.
