So they didn't implement a cloud backup save in DS2 but they did in DS1?
@DS2:SotFS: doesn't have cloud save, so you have to backup %drive:\users\%user\appdata\roaming\darksoulsii by yourself
Weak....Ok, guess I'll back up the save files for both. Thanks to the both of you.
Also, searching a little on the web someone said if I ever want to play the game again after I uninstalled it I should create the same number of characters I had when I uninstalled.
Can someone confirm this?
Yeah, that sounded strange to me too.
Oh well, guess I'll see if and when I'll ever do that. As I said, I already got all the achievements for both, so I don't really have the need to play the games in the future again.
Making backups on a regular basis is (obviously tbh) still recommended.
Like already mentioned though, ALL characters are on ONE savefile.
I should have added that you *need* the manual backup of DS2SotfS save files on a new machine or after reinstalling the OS.
Dark Souls 3 is the same way, DS1 I honestly have no idea where the saves are.
