DARK SOULS 2, i have a question about using cheat engine on DS2

So i have two characters ,one that i play legit with no hacks or anything, and another character the i leveled up with cheat engine and hacked a few other stuff but i only use him for offline , what i want to know is can i take my hacked one online if im only playing with my friends, me and my friends wanna just mess around and fight each other , but with me using my hacked character.

the short answer is no but you can play it...in some sorta way... is not a crime if you dont get caught

GIven that connexions are peer-to-peer and you can't explicitly select that you want to play only with your friends, you are effectively opening up people to play with a cheater whether they want to or not. All I can say is that I genuinely hope you don't take that route because it would speak volumes about what you find acceptable in online play, namely that cheating is generally acceptable in games with other people and even if they don't know about or agree with it.

You will be banned.

Softban affects the entire steam account not only the character. So it doesnt matter which one you use.
Also its pretty rare to get softbanned but DON'T touch your soul level or your soul memory and you will be fine. Also don't pop items like the king's ring or the key of the embeded before you get it normally. Don't spawn invalid game data like (+14 claymores), watch out with negative durability items too.
Just be careful and you will be ok.
Also don't be the kind of d¡ckhead cheater who messes up people's game for no reason
