Poison build?

I love me some poison, specially in DS2 more than 1 or 3, so i ask what are the best weapons for poison infusion? or any ideas for one other than butterfly set and spotted whips? i know how good those are, but whips are just not my jam. Any other weapon, specially fast or small, would be apreciated.

For optimal poison damage, you'll want a weapon with innate poison damage + the Clever Rat's Ring. If the weapon doesn't have innate poison damage, the ring's bonus is very small. Unfortunately, weapons with innate poison damage matching your ideas are few. You could go with Manslayer(s), although I'd imagine that's not small or fast enough. Dual Mytha's Bent Blades might be what you want, although they deal toxic damage. Black Scorpion Stinger is another option, although it has 0 scaling.

Im no expert but you could use maslayers or the dual Mytha's nent blades as stated above although you can infuse a dagger or the claws with poision

Ricard's Rapier and Channeler's Trident deal multiple quick hits with the R2, and such build poison quite quickly. The Rapier in particular might fit that "small and fast" bit you're looking for.

Sanctum Mace is pretty nice too.

Dual Manslayer's infused with poison is insane. Perhaps try that? What kind of weapons do you like?

I still haven't beated the game myself and its the first DS game i've played but id recommend the manslayer was it? Its a katana i think this exact one had something to do with poison however you can aways infuse it with poison not sure if it stacks tho.

In my experience with a poison build dual wielding Mytha's Bent Blade(s) was fun and pretty effective in pvp and sometimes in pve. You can't infuse them with poison because they inflict TOXIC on your enemies. Not many enemies in the came can inflict toxic and this is the only weapon that can inflict toxic.

as if that's a bad thing?
