in large groups going after a boss I would at times use sacred oath and whisper of despair for a super fast win.
Force line spells tend to be nice for knocking enemies off cliffs and whatnot.
Beat the Pursuer and the Ruin Sentinels to access Straid and then buy the best offensive miracle in the game: Heavenly Thunder.
Only requires 1 slot and 17 Faith, its essentially a fast-casting lightning version of the Firestorm type Pyromancies.
So many things are weak to lightning in this game that miracles and Faith builds are just so incredibly viable for PvE. Old Iron King dies in 7 casts of Heavenly Thunder on NG+. And there is enough variety in how the spells work to make them viable in PvP as well!
Remember to Lightning infuse the chime you're using to boost the Faith scaling and Lightning damage from miracles cast with it.
