I accidentally killed ornifex!!!!!

I wanted to buy the Fume sword from him but while evading the frog's breath orinfex got caught up in it and he died. Now I can't buy my sword and I worked so hard to clear brume tower and kill the fume knight (jk someone helped me with the boss). Will he respawn with a tombstone or is he gone for good? Will I have to restart my game and start fresh?

actualy he can still get some boss spells & weapons from the shade in the lost bastille but not as many as ornifex offers so.... play on or idk perhaps a bonfire bomb thingy will reset the area give it a try

This happened to me, and I freaking hate it. You have two options. Wait until NG+, or wait about 8-16 in game hours (it varies for this NPC) and then you can see her tombstone next to where she died. Requesting absolution will not bring her back. That's just to make people stop attacking you.

Anyway, after a few hours, her tombstone will be there. PROTIP: Carry a torch with you and the spiders will all run away from you, letting you speak to her in peace.

she died at shadded woods though not teseldora so... maybe not
