I accidentally killed ornifex!!!!!

I wanted to buy the Fume sword from him but while evading the frog's breath orinfex got caught up in it and he died. Now I can't buy my sword and I worked so hard to clear brume tower and kill the fume knight (jk someone helped me with the boss). Will he respawn with a tombstone or is he gone for good? Will I have to restart my game and start fresh?

She should respawn with a tombstone where she was killed after a while. I'm not sure if you have to talk to a NPC first or not for that to happen, tho. If it was in shaded ruins, that's also where the tombstone will be.

But you gotta pay like 11k souls whenever you want to trade with her that way.

Wait...which basilisk killed her? If she died by the basilisks in the Shaded Woods you're f*cked. If she died by the single basilisk outside of her house in Brighstone Cove Tseldora her gravestone will eventually spawn and you can get boss weapons from her again. The problem is that it's pretty rare for her to die from the basilisk in Brighstone Cove Tseldora because the petrifying mist usually can't reach her and the basilisk won't follow you in there so...I have a feeling you're f*cked.
