You've heard the tip about staying in his left knee so he can't hit you? It seems that if you stray outside of the knee a bit, he's pretty much guaranteed to get baited into using attacks instead of jumping back, and then you just need to get back under his knee again to be safe. You can still get smoshed into a corner and lose the ability to circle around him properly, but him not jumping away (and then following up with some long-range oneshot) ever 30 seconds helps tremendously.
Also, btw, if you can pancake the ghost warriors (2H greathammer or any pillar spell), they can't EVER get up again. Try it out sometime, it looks hilarious x3
