Relatar um problema com a tradução
What's the problem with this one :D?
Refill flasks, ignore smelter, kill iron king.
Also what's the second "dozen" enemy?
There is only smelter and those 2 red phantoms... (is dennis "dozen"?)
And what is the second "dozen" enemy?
Also there is no iron king in dlc ;d
edit:
I have been looking for english name of the location behind phaross
it seems to be "Belfry Sol" once you disable furnace it is easy to get there.
1. Bed of Chaos
The worst example of horrible bosses and level design. You have to go through the whole level with multiple enemies and then do a platforming boss. The only way to get a shortcut is to get high enough in the sisters of chaos but regardless is a horrible boss far beyond anything Smelter got to offer.
2. Nito
The way to get to Nito is an extremely long one. Yes you can find ways to skip most of the level but unless you already played the game so much that you know where they are and how to behave you have no problem, just like you have no problem with Smelter which makes the argument invalid for Smelter if it is invalid for Nito
3. 4 Kings
If you die you have to go all the way back from Firelink Shrine or Valley of the Drakes to get back, and you have to fight all of the Darkwraiths or ghosts again depening on where you start from. This is far worse then going for Smelter where all enemies can easily be pulled into a better location. The 4 kings are not a easy boss battle on top of that is be ready to go back a lot.
4. Seath the Scaleless
Well you have to run around a whole cave with pathways you can't see. This is more easier then most other bosses but still is something that show there is no shortcut where you have to run away from enemies before a boss.
5. Gwyn
Have you forgotten that just before this boss battle there is quite a few respawning black knights blocking your way? Or is that just not something to care about?
6. Smelter is an optional boss battle. You don't actually have to kill him. I have completed the whole level several times without even killing him.
7. Smelter is not so hard when you know how to kill him, and the area isn't as bad as you think. I love to twink in this game since I got over 1300 hours on it. If I can defeat the area and the boss with my SM 60k character you can defeat him easily with player/NPC support as well as having no limits on your levels and soul use. Did you know you can summon NPC's to help in the battle? How about trying that as it helps a lot.
8. The game is hardly sh!t. The enemies are not that strong and all you need is a good weapon that can take them out. Did you know that clubs are very effective against armor and swords are basically worthless in real life? Have you tried using a club or something? Stop blaming the game for you being bad.
Edit: Oh yes lets not forget about ornstein and smough. You just have to get past a few silver knights, some greifing players and 2 huge giants to get to them. You waste quite a lot of estus to get there unless you know the game as the back of your hand which is far far worse then it is for smelter since ornstein and smough are far far harder then smelter is as you got no lifegems. I think you rather just dig your own grave the more you speak to be honest.
run to the first switch to lower the bridge. pull the "disk" lever but stay on that platform. agro all enemies in sight and let them come to you. some will drop into the lava, others come up the stairs. smack all survivors.
snipe the captain at the fog door.
jump back to the first switch and make your way on the bridge. Buff up.
get of the bridge and summon lucatiel(optional ofc) and rush to fog door. wait for a greatarrow to hit and dodge it before attempting to enter the bossfog or he might rip you out of animation.
kill smelter. if desperate, spam lifegems and take orange burr in phase 2 and 3. watch out for that AoE tho
that sounds like a lot, but it´s actually pretty breezy since all you do is run to a specific spot and wait for them, then hit em 3 times with a strike wpn (even rapier+stone ring works fine)...
since i copied this strat from someone else, i like this area quite alot. mind you, beating smelter is not completely for nothing. afterfight surprise incl...
Shortcut was for like 30 humanity? in DS1 they were everywhere and you didn't need them to refill hp :D
2. Use last bonfire, then it's not that long and enemies don;t gank you + you don't need to lure them (or at least you don't need ranged weapon to kill unreachable ones) + in road to nito you don't need to complete puzzles :D
3. boss is pain, elevator is long but you can skip all enemies just by jumping to the *now* dry part of this location (if done properly then 0dmg in jump) and run to boss fog. (even this big black something won't be able to hit you, no idea if it has name)
4. well yeah you see nothing when you play first time, second+ run you read dev messages and watch snowflakes, you see everything... how many enemies on patch to boss there? 1 super slow golem and some of those oysters (slow too)
5. only 5 enemies (4 of them skippable), weaker than those hippos in aldia's keep :D
about ornstein and smough -> open those big doors, no reason to fight with enemies then.
my being good or not is irrelevant , the game is badly designed. they had two gargoyle demons in DS1 ! let's have FIVE of them ! let's make the boss you beat respawn as regular mob in the later levels ! game still feel too easy ? take this enemy here copy and paste 10 times in this map! it's sh!t design that's bringing this game down. not because I'm bad at it . the enemy placement in DS1 actually make sense. silver knight in Anor Londo, do you see silver knights teleporting out of nowhere in other maps of the game ? why is that knight boss popping up everywhere in DS2, beats me .
Because they are PURSUERS. They hunt you, Bearer of the Curse
Except the one in forest, he waits for you like a boss.
And even with taht, they can be easily outrun. Just run thru the room, fall to pit, run thru tne next room, ect. Most of the enemies not follow and too slow.
And in the Smelter location, there is a shortcuts, which is give you almost free way to a final room
