Smelter Demon boss OMG

who ♥♥♥♥♥♥ great idea is to put two DOZEN enemies before the boss fight? with no shortcuts ? this is why Dark Souls 2 is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the series , the guy made this game doesn't understand the fa ck ing fundamental aspects of Dark Souls. never in the series where you have to fight two dozen strong enemies just to get to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss fight. and it's not just this boss. a lot of them require you to fight through hell just to get to the door. ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥

nope. I've played Dark Soul 1. 3 and Bloodborne. you never have to fight two dozen enemies just to get to the boss fight. there's ALWAYS a shortcut. yeah there might be a few annoying archers or dudes throwing fireballs at you. but nothing you can't just run past them. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. puts the strongest enemies before the boss door. and gives you NO shortcut. it's impossible to run past them. so you have to killed everyone countless times until they stopped spawning. before even fighting the boss

On the other hand, Smelter is a completely optional boss.

Most path to a required boss fight (or even semi-required) tends to be pretty short and easy from the nearest bonefire.

Yep, I hate it when they do that. It's boring when the bonfire is directly in front of the boss fog, but when they throw a ♥♥♥♥ ton of enemies in the way, it sucks, *cough* Blue Smelter *cough*

the horse wagon boss does the same thing. there 5 or 6 guys before that bridge. I hate this ♥♥♥♥♥ , it's not that I can't kill them. it's just really facking tedious

I don't wanna spend 30 minutes killing every enemy for every boss run
it's a major design flaw
