How did you kill Mytha, the Baneful Queen?
I remembered how surprisingly hard this boss was for me, after mentioning her in some other thread. So my question is, how did you kill her? Meaning, did you cheese her through that windmill strategy, that gets rid of her poison, or did you fight in her beauty cream?

Because I did not get rid of that windmill, the whole "set the windmill on flame with torch" is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I did not figure that out at all. I learned about it, from my friend before I was done with that boss, but I decided to not use this, because I knew that I wouldnt figure it out on my own.

Im not exactly sure which route I took, but Im kinda sure that I did it in this order - Last Giant, Pursuer, Dragonrider, Old Dragonslayer, Flexile Sentry, probably Lost Sinner, then Skeleton Lords, Covetous Demon and then tried to take down Mytha, which was like the biggest wall for me at that time in DS2.

Tried her like 10+ times and then was like ♥♥♥♥ it, I need more DPS (I was using Drangleic Sword) so I went to do Rotten and Najka, maybe even Freja first and after that I came back and finally took her down, but It was still kinda hard.

Fighting her, while she heals, without weapon that can put her down quickly, while being constantly poisoned, is like fighting Fume knight with Ashen Idols still up.

"cheese her using the windmill strategy" that's the intended way to fight the boss. that isn't cheese. she heals herself in poison, it's a blatantly unfair boss if you don't burn the windmill. anyways, you can parry her, she's slow, jester thomas exists, she's got a big ol snake butt to hit, she's easy.

On my first playthrought i used a torch on the wheel by pure luck, if it wasn't for that well...

Yes, but how would you figure it out, unless you find guide online or you see message (I would probably still think about it as a joke if i saw it anyway).

They should make it, that using that Pharros Lockstone in mimic room, would drain poison from her chamber.
If you stack enough poison resist, the fight isn't that hard even with the poison. I kind of like to leave the poison in for reasons.

The reason is to set traps for invaders and arbitors. Go in to Earthen Peak and pop a seed. Cast chameleon and then watch tv, read a bood, clean up around the house, etc. Sooner or later someone invades you and they get the double whammy of fighting through all the enemies and have to wade through poison. If you are in the COC, then the enemies are aslo tougher for the invader.

Literally all you need is Jester Thomas, as his pyromancies are OP as ♥♥♥♥! Clearing the poison removes the headaches, but that is one summon I stand by compared to any other NPC summon in the game.

Yeah, I also first thought you were meant to drain the poison using those Pharros contraptions... after nothing happened with the boss room after I activated one, I started looking for others so I ran around that place for AGES before I gave up and looked it up.

Jester Thomas is powerful enough that they probably balanced him for when you didn't drain the poison :P

I killed her first time in the poison pool just by using a mix of estus and lifegems constantly. She is not very durable so the fight ended quickly. I learned of the windmill much later when I was summoned as a phantom and wondered what had happened to to poison.
