Any Tips for Sir Alonne? :_:
I am at 3 Million Soul Memory, and Sir Alonne is the last DLC boss I have to kill, any tips for that guy? He is incredibly fast, I can't even put one hit on him (NPCs do ♥♥♥♥, boss focuses on me and they barely do any dmg)
My equipment:
Red Iron Twinblade +10
Raw Battle Axe +10
Blacksteel Katana (x2) +10
Red Blossom Shield (That one, regenerating stamina) +10
Black Knight Halberd +5
Jester Set +10
Ring of Blades
Red Tearstone Ring
Third Dragon Ring
Stone Ring

I have 58% burden, I am not using them all at once, just changing them, adjusting to situation when I need them

With both NPCs or just Drifter Swordsman Aidel it should be doable.
I recently beat him with a level 50 character and I found Aidel quite helpful. He even survived the fight.

Actually, the NPCs are doing something, but Master Alonne is so desperate to kill me, sometimes I think he just don't see them

When he backsteps, prepare for his fast lunge forward. Roll forward. His back is exposed.

Just remember, summoning makes bosses stronger. I did him solo with little trouble when I first played the DLC.

As much as I love the concept of the Alonne fight, I hate pathway to him... :/

Roll to his left side.

Sir Alonne is on steroids, he runs like mad all around the room and got some crazy moves.
He has my respect though

There are 2 NPCs at the beginning of the area that makes it much easier.Do you go there hollow?

No, I have Vendrick's Blessing (Can't turn into hollow), but every summoned NPC buffs boss, and even with 2 NPCs, it seems like Alonne is only focusing on me, ignoring both of them.
They are helpful in the area, but in the boss, they seem kinda useless

True that.I was talking only about the way to Alonne, because you said it gives you cancer. In the battle they are pretty useless.

Boss isn't as fast as it looks. His attacks are pretty obvious and those quick sliding attacks can be easily dodged. Just memorize patterns and keep dodging. He changes attack target if he misses few times and gets aggro from AI. I wouldn't suggest hitting him more than once between his combos as he can easily hit you even if you are out of range. Approach his back with shield up, hit once, dodge and repeat. If you have avelyn, spells or other ranged equipment use them when between dodges if he glues to you and you have no chance to safely attack him in melee range.
