Dark Souls 2 SotFS: The Alonne Knight Captain's Helm

I'm really having a hard time farming for this helm. Any suggestions?


PS: I am wearing the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring frome Magerold and Jester's Cap

If I'm not wrong you can get the covetous ring at the iron keep after you start progressing through the ladder, I suggest you go and get that (not sure if it's the gold one though)

you can go back and ascetic covetous serpent +2 from the belfry gargoyles if you want.

You can also wear the watchdragon parma and pop a rusted coin.

Or you in the millions SM? If so I may have one I can just give to you.

My SM is 1390790 so far

too low, sorry.

Random drops are random. Keep at it and you will get one - eventually.

Just keep going. It's a rare drop.

I always farm the one outside of the Smelter Demon arena. It's close enough to a bonfire and you don't have to fight anything else.

The captains near the smelter demon no longer respawn for me, atleast I got the chest piece out of them. Welp I'll just Farm every captain i see

Why don't you try the Champion's Covenant? That's basically an essential for farming anything in DS2.

I'd recommend wearing the Stone Ring while fighting the Alonne Knights since keeping them stun-locked in poise-break is the best way to deal with them.
Also eliminates the chances of you getting hit provided you're cautious enough, allowing you to wear the Prisoner's mask and rags for maximum drop rate.
