Why does Nashandra have two forms?

She looks human in the throne room but shes this hollowed demon in the boss area, why is that?

She took a human form to seduce King Vendrick, for power. Also to probably start a war between Drangleic and the Giants.

Each shard of Manus is a certain aspect of him. Such as Alsanna being his fear, Elana seems to be his wrath, while Nashandra seems to be his lust (for power).

I think she simply just changes her armor as in thats her battle armor versus when sitting in a room just talking to someone.

Wait where'd the theory about manus come from? I thought that women from ice dlc is a piece of artorias judging from her dialogue but thats all what I know.

Alsanna's soul description:

It says that she is a "child of Dark", just like it calls Elsana and Nashandra. While it doesn't specifically Nadalia a "child of Dark" in her soul item description, it calls her an auger, much like the others. Nadalia specifically being an "auger of loneliness". Meaning she probably reprisents Manus' loneliness. This all ties in with the fact that Manus is the "Father of the Abyss", hence the Dark.

Also which dialogue ties her to Artorias? I didn't see anything after skimming through all her dialogue.

From what I gathered Nashandra, Alsanna, Nadalia and Elana are all "children of Dark", making them sisters of sort.

I need to make sure then, I thought her dialogue said that her father was killed in the abyss meaning that he wasnt originally from there so I automatically thought artorias but that makes more sense now. Thanks
