How good is the set of the old ivory king

I mean is it worth to farm the 50 souls for it?I am doing it for an half hour already and I only have 4 souls and I am using the 2+ gold ring the dragon shield and the rusty luck coins

hard to say. i only checked the armor and stat wise vengarl seems better with just 0.3 more weight.
the drangleic armor provides more defense and poise too with 0.3 less weight but therefore less elemental resists except for lightning.

but in the end the differences aint that big in the same weight "class".

i guess its more a fashion question if its worth grinding for that 50 souls or not.

I've heard it's because the effect works on the opposite gender, and most enemies are male. But I've never tested it.

The amor looks nice. I wear it with havels arms and legs and the chaos hood. But it's not min/maxed or anything.

Physical defense is just trash. Wear what you think looks cool, or go for optimized poise setups.
