What happens if you kill 1st boss on roof 1st try?
Will he still be in the boss room when you get there or will you just fight another one of him? If you still don't know exactly which boss he's the first one in this animation video called happy souls.

If you kill The Pursuer on the platform, you get his soul, the Ring of Blades, and the reward souls. He will not appear in the boss room because you've killed him already.

He will most likely still show up. Haven't tried myself, so I can't say for sure, but he's called the Pursuer, and hounds you throughout the game, no matter how many times you kill him. He shows up in several spots. So the odds of that fight changing anything are slim to none

I see this discussion is splitting into two sides so maybe what if there are more than one of him?

I usually take him out in the forest on the the rooftop and never get him in the boss room when I do. Then there are the 4, i think 4, encounters in the lost bastille and then lastly in the castle. So in theory either it could be the same pursuer popping up multiple times or there are multiple pursuers in the land.

There are multiple pursuers because if you go into the throne room in Dragleic castle on NG+ two Pursuers appear and drop the, "Ring of Blades+2".

Was it ever explained what the Pursuers are?

I know there's a popular theory of P being the protagonist from DkS1 who lighted the bonfire, but I don't think that was ever confirmed, right?

I think theyre the ones who captured undead and sent them to lost bastille or huntsmans copse

No... that would be the Skeleton Lords.

If you kill the Pursuer at the rooftop in the forest, he won't come back for his boss fight and you'll get the stuff from him early.

There's other pursuers later on, but they don't have anything like that.

Sorry to be a ♥♥♥♥, but what's the point of responding if you admit you don't even know what you are talking about? xD

I've also noticed if you kill him as a shade in first encounter, you get the full souls (instead of partial, as with most boss fights). It's a really easy way to rack up your first 100,000k in a short time.

They do drop twinkling titanite which is pretty valuable. Definitely worth fighting them if you're up to it.
