? I'm asking for the ideal poise level to min max on equipment load
Stunlocks don't exist anyways (except for the 2-hit-combo of most weapons in case your Poise gets broken).
If you aren't doing RoB/Flynn, then you've got to make the sacrifice of 50 AR worth it and get at least 100 poise. You can actualy get 130 without too much trouble. Consider yourself a poise monster.
Tried to look for them but couldn't find. Why do you think I'm asking in the forums
so at least 100 right? thanks
check for the break points here [darksouls2.wikidot.com] on wikidot.
(wikidot is almost always the right choice for in depth, accurate information)
Gotcha. Looks like 95 poise is ideal for withstanding most r1 attacks
Only if you arent in an attack animation.
Ah really? Then is it better to have the lightest armor possible for rolls + endurance regen the best?
Don't listen to this idiot. Poise is much stronger than this in dark souls 2. A lot of people are coming from dark souls 3 to DaS2 with this idea that poise is nonexistent in das2 because it wasnt in dark souls 3. I need to make a video of me face tanking those ruin sentinels in drangleic castle. That's a good test for how your end game poise is (for a tank build).
This is true but a few months back I did a tank build but more of a well rounded tank build (high hp, endurance, dex and strength) using the elite knight set and the despite being a medium armor set the elite knight set fully upgraded gives you a lot of poise. It's such a good set (and of course it just looks good). The only minor pet peeve I have with it and heavier armor sets is that in dark souls 2 it makes this annoying clanky sound all the time while you walk around. It gets kind of grating.
I actually kinda like the sound. It gives you the idea youre actually moving around in heavy metal armour.
